Sip & Sketch event this Friday
The WCSU Department of Art will host "Sip & Sketch" on Friday, Oct. 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Max Wine & Spirits, 40 Mill Plain Road in Danbury.
The cost is $25 and includes wine sampling, hors d'oeuvres, art instruction and basic drawing materials. All artistic levels are welcome, but participants must be 21 to attend.
A combination ticket for "Sip & Sketch" and the WCSU Theatre Arts Department fall production, "The Drunken City" will be $35. The performance is at 8 p.m. in the Studio Theatre in the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the university's Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury.
