#Waka2016 has to wait until 2024

Juaquin James Malphurs, better known as Waka Flocka Flame, announced in a Rolling Stone interview on April 20 that he would be running for president.

“I’m very pleased to announce today on 4/20, the best day of the year, I will be running for president,” he said before he rolled a blunt. “The first thing I’m going to do when I get in office is legalize marijuana.”

He stayed true to a tweet that he posted back in 2012:

Waka Flocka even released a campaign video to explain his main points (besides his priority of legalizing marijuana), where he wants to ban dogs from restaurants: “I don’t wanna see no f— animal in a restaurant”; ban people with big feet from walking in public: “anyone who got feet over size 13 cannot walk in public no more”; and have the youth memorize his lyrics: “we gonna teach the kids more reality skills and they gotta learn my lyrics.”

Needless to say, the Internet went wild after Waka Flocka announced his running for presidency.

The potential commander-in-chief even changed his picture on his Twitter account (@WakaFlockabsm), to a picture whose style resembles Obama’s 2008 “Hope” campaign poster.

Though many people expressed that they would vote for him in the 2016 election, Waka Flocka can’t actually run because he’s only 28 and has to be at least 35 years old.

Maybe he'll have better luck in 2024.
